Deck Core Thickness of a CD 30
I am getting ready to open up my deck and deal with a wet core.
Does anyone know the thickness of the balsa core on an 86 CD 30?
Thanks very much

Core repair
The benefit would be to keep everything dry while working from the inside. Now the issue is moot. I will wait for warm weather and do it from the outside.

Deck Core Repair
Has anyone attempted to repair a wet core on a Cape Dory 30 or any other with a headliner from the inside?
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has done core repair on a CD 30 or other.
Thanks very much

CD 30 or 30 B
I own a 86 B option and it is the only way I would have gone. The absoulute biggest advantage to the B is engine access. I can get to everything back there with little problem. Access from the companionway, starboard pilot berth and port lazarette. And yes the head is incredible. My boat is the one ...

1986 Cape Dory 30 "B" Option for sale in NJ
I have decided to sell Pelican Moon and move up to a larger boat when I retire next year. She is a fine vessel and I will miss it very much. All info can be seen at www.oceangateyachtsales.com. The price is lower then other "B" Option boats because the port side deck is wet. Once that is f...

Heat Exchanger removal
Tony and sv yeti Are just the hose clamps holding it on? What about the bracket? If it is just hose clamps then it should be relatively easy. I intend to replace the hoses as well. As for the zinc, it has not been replaced since I have the boat. it appears that unit has corroded, however I will be v...
