Has anyone attempted to repair a wet core on a Cape Dory 30 or any other with a headliner from the inside?
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has done core repair on a CD 30 or other.
Thanks very much

Excuse the question but.........what would be the advantage of this approach ? Are you worried about saving the exterior gelcoat ? Working against gravity will probably take longer than the conventional approach, not to mention the holes in the headliner.

The benefit would be to keep everything dry while working from the inside. Now the issue is moot. I will wait for warm weather and do it from the outside.
