Re: Could I connect a S2000 autopilot direclty to bank batt

Thanks!!!. I just thought one can use some kind of marine thermal circuit breaker connected to one of the battery bank and connect the S2000 autopilot's cables from there. I guess will need to deal with that bunch of entangled wires in the distribution panel.

Could I connect a S2000 autopilot direclty to bank battery

Hi I tried to connect the electrical cables that connect to the Raymarine S2000 autopilot’s connector to the DC distribution panel of my CD25D. But I could not figure out how to do it. Would like to know if anyone has tried to connect it directly to the battery with a 12 A fuse for protection. Thank...

Re: Yanmar 1GM marine engine does not crank right away

Hi I think got the problem solved. Now I just press the starter button once and the engine crank right away. I pretty much followed some of your suggestions by cleaning the connections. I used sandpaper, not too coarse, to polish the metal. Below what I did but BEFORE disconnected battery cables: 1....

Re: Yanmar 1GM marine engine does not crank right away

Hi Tim

Will check for the click sound. So it means that if I hear it, must be the electric cable and not the solenoid/starter???
Thanks

Yanmar 1GM marine engine does not crank right away

This is my situation with my Yanmar 1GM: I push the starter button repeatedly in order to get the motor to turn over. I get no immediate engine crank. Any suggestions???

Thanks in advance

Re: Installing Taller Off-Shore Stanchions

Ok John, will wait for the photos. I like your dodger design a lot, doesn't take much space, and will look good on Juno.
Thanks

Re: Installing Taller Off-Shore Stanchions

Hi again John
Looking at the pictures of the dodger, how do you hold it still on top of the companionway while navigating??? Is it screwed to the wood???

I would appreciate it your response
