I do NOT see many 22's for sale. I have one up here in NH.
It is a great large day sailor for two or three people... also single hands nicely.
When I think of moving up to a 27, I remember the added work and expense of not keeping it simple.
One sold here last month for $8500.

Gusting to 38, new to sailing, hank on jib.... read a good book and stay home.
