Saturday Again
Well here it is again,, another extremely busy Saturday on the CDSOA board. Let me see if I can squeeze this little bit in between the heavy volume of posts.
Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft.
Unsurprisingly it sank, proving once again that you can't have your kayak and heat it too.
O J
I guess that the sailing season is about over around here. Monday the municipal docks and slips will start to be taken in. There was snow (not much accumulation) just to the north of here at Saranac Lake and vicinity.
Oh well, say lah vee,

Definition of sailing...
- Sailing - The fine art of getting wet and becoming ill, while going nowhere slowly at great expense (equivalent to standing in a cold shower, fully clothed, throwing up, and tearing up $100 bills, while a bunch of other people watch you).
Well, lah vee dah that doesn't sound like much fun, but for some reason I can't help myself.

Re: Par Excellence
You're suggesting that I vote for Frank who? I also don't understand the "tres" part... around here you can get in trouble if you try voting twice, let alone three times.Oswego John wrote:M. Gordonne

By the way, that's how they finally proved that Elvis was dead; he voted twice in Chicago in the last presidential election.

The Artist is not born to a life of pleasure.
He must not live idle;
he has hard work to perform,
and one which often proves a cross to be borne.
He must realize that his every deed, feeling, and thought
are raw but sure material from which his work is to arise,
That he is free in Art but not in life.

Well, Creme Brulee is still in the water
But it was too darn windy on Saturday (gusts to 35 knots), so I noticed that OJ was at it again.
BTW, that old sailboat in Cathy's second YouTube submission was obviously NOT a Cape Dory. Too much control under power.

I believe that is a Formosa 51. It's a full keel so I'm sure it doesn'tJoe Myerson wrote: BTW, that old sailboat in Cathy's second YouTube submission was obviously NOT a Cape Dory. Too much control under power.
