Slow Saturdays

Post by Oswego John »

As most of you readers by now realize, Saturday is noted for its dearth of posts. ...and ever was it thus.

So to help dispel this feeling of ennui and boredom, allow me to report on something that I was involved with last night, a wedding.

Two VHF antennae met at a marina. It was love at first sight. They became engaged. Last evening they got married.

Well, the ceremony was okay but.....

Get ready,

Brace yourselves,

Here it comes

...... the reception was terrific. :D

O J

PS: It serves you right. Now maybe you'll send something in next Saturday

We sail on Saturday!

Post by bgephart »

You get lots of posts during the week when most are at work, and have nothing better to do than think about sailing ideas. Come Saturday, it's time to get out there and enjoy the CD!

I fully understand what you are saying and I agree with you. Please take no offense. I was only kidding.

I have to admit that about this time every year I get a little envious of the southern sailors. The northern season is rapidly coming to a close. Many boats are on the hard sometime around mid October. Last night it was 38°F. Tonight, a killing frost is predicted

Our marina starts taking up the floats and slips next week. Essentially, the sailing season is over for many of us. The few opportunities that remain to go sailing in the fall up here are some of the best times to sail, however brief they may be.

Again, I understand where you are coming from.

Sail on,

PS: A picture is coming in a few minutes.
(Ooops, sorry, I just woke up. I fell asleep at the keyboad.) It's a few minutes and then some.
