When I had Gabbiano's deck fixed, I had the eyebrows removed. Just too much trouble.

Origo

I replaced "Gabbi's" old stove with the Origo Non-Pressurized, 2 Burner Stove With Oven. I even bake bread in it. I did not have room for the propane tank and the Origo "fit like a glove".

sink drain

Has anyone installed a seacock for the bath room sink, rather than letting it drain into the bilge?

Manuals

I was on the web last evening looking for a manual for my Lewmar winches I came across the following web site with a "TON" of manuals. The site is for a Person 35, but has just about every manual for any sailboat. It even has the Hillerrange manual. http://www.pearson35.com/p35articles/equ...

radar location

Been investigating a new radar for Gabbiano. Getting lot of data regarding placement of the radar dome. Some folks with cutter rigs are telling me not to place the dome where the staysail will interfere. I have sailed Westsails with the Dome right above the spreaders and could not see any difference...

VICTORY LED

I bought the Bi-Color LED from Dr. LED and the bulb is too large to fit through the bottom hole. The instructions want you to disassemble the housing. That is a bit too much for me. After some more searching, I came across the VICTORY, SERIES 40 LED, BI-COLOR bulb for $61.52. The bulb is 1-1/4â€

use the main halyard

At our marina, we remove the backstay and tie off the main halyard to a stern cleat until the boat is on the jack stands. Then, we reattach the backstay. Works pretty well. If the mast is going to be removed for whatever, we have a gin pole on the travel lift with block and tackle.

Thanks for the PIC. I’ve seen the way the Island Packets do theirs. Yours is a good set-up.

Staysail furling

I am planning to add a roller furler for my staysail. Saw some PICS posted by Cathy Monaghan and was wondering if there are any close up pictures of the lines at the track and at the end of the boom.
