Re: Deviation Diagram
Thanks John
It's always so windy here in coastal DE that it's hard to get a steady reading
without a 3 anchor mooring.

Deviation Diagram
Greetings All,
Just out of curiosity, has anyone made a deviation diagram for their boat?
And if so, how many degrees of spacing to simplify interpolation?

Carbon Fiber Mast
Has anyone replaced their aluminum mast for a carbon fiber one to reduce weight aloft?
If so, would you care to share your experience and would you do it again?

CD 25 In Water Care
Some time ago a fellow sailor posted a thread about a rubberized canvas bag
that could be mounted to cover the immersed portion of an outboard; then filled with fresh water
it would keep barnacles at bay.
Anyone know of the source?

My whisker pole is 6' and has served me well while single handed sailing.

Re: Boat Fire
I would be willing to bet that the boat did not have a 30 amp circuit breaker up from the selector switch

IMHO, A Loos gauge, properly employed, is the only way to go.

Re: Improving the Cape Dory 25 bilge access.
I don't understand why anyone would want to cut up the floor for more access.
There is plenty of room for a bilge pump to be placed forward of the opening to the lowest point in the bilge.
Why not leave well enough alone and go sailing?
Respectfully,
Dick
