The Cape Dory Board

Some time ago a fellow sailor posted a thread about a rubberized canvas bag
that could be mounted to cover the immersed portion of an outboard; then filled with fresh water
it would keep barnacles at bay.
Anyone know of the source?

I don't understand why anyone would want to cut up the floor for more access.
There is plenty of room for a bilge pump to be placed forward of the opening to the lowest point in the bilge.
Why not leave well enough alone and go sailing?

The grain varies considerably, so pick and choose to suit your preference.

There are two pulleys on my mast head... one for the mainsail halyard, the other for a topping lift? Or flag?

The topping lift is closer to the center of the mast on my boat.
