Re: CD25D for sale
Roberto, I have sailed just about everywhere there is around the Carolinas. Lake Hartwell is definitely the place to be if you are not on the coast. The lake has almost 1000 miles of shoreline. The wind isn't as good as the ocean but not bad. Check out Western Carolina Sailing Club, we have 2 CD330'...

CD25D for sale
cd 25 d for sale. $18,500 Fresh water boat in South Carolina taken to the coast once or twice a year to stretch her legs. She got new sails in 2015 but didn't get used last year as I got a CD30 C to restore. Main sail made by Mac Sails, two reef points, full batten. Lazy Jacks make dousing a breeze....

Re: looking to buy Cape Dory 25D
I have an excellent 25 D that I am getting ready to sell. I have just finished restoring my CD30C so now I am ready to part with my first love. I have been too busy playing with the new boat to much about it as of yet. I can get some pictures and a list of upgrades for you if you are interested. A p...

for sale sails, sail covers and volvo engine
Hi all, I have just finished a repower and recondition/upgrade of my CD30C. I travel extensively with this boat so I wanted everything as good as I could make it to keep the Admiral safe and comfortable. She looks great on the water, and so does the boat. The following items are just a partial list ...

Re: Lake Hartwell and Lake Murray and Lake Lanier
Here at Western Carolina Sailing Club we have 2 CD 330's, 1 CD 30, 2 CD 27's and 2 CD 25D's. All without a travel lift. We do have a great launch ramp and several trailers. Plus as Bly said Big Water can ulnoad anything you may have on a transport truck.

Re: CD 30 cutter sail covers.
Yes they are for a 30 cutter. They are in good shape, I just didn't want blue for my CD. MY CD 25D has tan and I love the way it goes with everything. I can take pictures on Friday and get them to you.

Re: Composite Mast for a 25D?
I travel with Wind Horse often, even though I was told I couldn't. I load and unload her on the trailer and raise and lower the mast single handed. I attach the trailer winch strap to the top of an A-frame and attach the lower end of the furler to the top of the A-frame. Next I install two block and...

Wind Horse has a sea cock under the sink and we do use it often but we have pressure water.

Re: Is my 150 genoa too much sail for my CD25D?
David, according to our owners manual the mast should be "plumb" or straight up and down (checked at the dock). The easiest way to check this is to hang something heavy (plumb bob) on your halyard just above the boom and let the boat settle. The weight should rest very near the mast. Make ...

Re: Is my 150 genoa too much sail for my CD25D?
I fly a 150 (new) on my 25D always. I start reefing around 16 to 20 depending on how much fun I am looking for that day. I never bury the rails. I would check my rigging first to make sure that the mast is correctly positioned. BTW are you using the inner track or outer as intended with that sail? d...
