Thanks for the reply OJ, maybe some go fast info is Top Secret... Yes, i will have a tiller extension, seems to me anything you can do to get the stern up & out would help boat speed (less wet surface)... Rules do not allow for backstay adjuster, however i did see one guy with a loose backstay t...

wow, "i fear i may be in the same boat"(sorry couldnt resist) i plan on launching our weekender this weekend... it has not been wet for over 19 years.... your leak may stop after a day or two, keep an eye on it... Good Luck...

Thanks Bill... the old girl is on the hard in the Crows Nest Marina, Oceanside on the south shore. Lots of nice folks with a couple cool spots nearby. I hope to: A. Circumnavigate the Tall French Lady in the harbor B. Sail to Montock, then to Block C. Next year maybe Newport & Maine Is this too ...
