Re: WTB - Traveler Car for CD36. Nicro-Fico 1169
The bearings on our main traveler car are worn out. Not ready to replace the entire system if someone that has upgraded to a new system and has a unit that is still serviceable i would be interested in purchasing. Probably not near you but I saw one at a marine consignment store in St Augustine, FL...

Re: In hull transducer installation
By "In hull" do you mean thru hull or in the bilge (no hole thru)? I have had respectable success with "in the bilge" type installations by using a piece of 3" PVC cut to the angle of the hull and secured to the inside of the hull (bilge) using 5200, then filled with a liqui...

With mixed emotions I report that Nautica has sold
Its time to get my Typhoon seaworthy. I simply cannot be without a Cape Dory or two in my fleet.

Re: CD 36 and Beta Engines
http://www.capedory.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=36191 This CD36 is still for sale and has a Yanmar which the seller had professionally installed. Perhaps a PM would result in some specifics regarding the changeover. Gladly! I believe I have Nautica sold (mixed emotions, no doubt  :) ). T...

Re: For Sale: CD-36 in VA - Offers Welcome
Bump - Nautica did not sell using a local broker. Honestly, I am very surprised given we were $20K lower than others on YW, and competitive with others on the private market, particularly given all of the upgrades. I guess the gel coat issue is hard for people to look past. She is still for sale, bu...

Re: WTB Cape Dory 36 needing TLC
My Cape Dory 36 Nautica is currently listed with a broker here in Topping VA for $39,500. I believe we are priced at the low end of the market, particularly when considering some important upgrades such as a newer motor with less than 400 hours, new electrical systems, new traveler, new 12v fridge, ...

Re: Parfait's voyage back from Hell
Launch day was yesterday. New bottom paint, repainted boot stripe, and had the hull compounded, polished, and waxed. I love the sunlight reflections on the hull :) The coamings from within the cockpit are back in good shape too!! Please excuse the sawdust and dirt - cleaning the topside will be next...

How did I miss the post a picture feature?? It works great!!
Is there a limit to the amount of storage one can use? I'm thinking I should go back and save most of my previously posted pics to the forum's storage so that they do not get lost.
