I'm game to purchase several at this price. Given that it sounds like one BIG order will be made, the logistics of the process do need to be thought out. It would be great if the CD chandlery or the like could do it. Otherwise some member on his/her own must take on the task.

lenjag,

As other posters have pointed out, your problem may not be an 'air' problem. You didn't mention the symptoms leading you to this conclusion. What are they? I had a problem on my 21a that Chris had. Turned out it was fibrous material lodged in the angle fitting at the fuel tank.

As Cathy pointed out, Perry Nuts are no longer manufactured, so prop zincs like Camp are now what you see in catalogs.

festoon bulbs

I would add my query for a festoon anchor light bulb LED replacement. I would really like to lower the draw on that light with a replacement bulb. Anyone? Bueller? Paul Take a look at the link to the docterled that kerrydeare has in his post. Check this site out too http://www.bebi-electronics.com/...

Yep, 4 ports per side, each open. Personally, I think 5 ports would enhance the lines.

Well, a bike ride away is certainly better than a long car drive. Have fun with your new 28 and I hope we see you on one of the cruises..

All CD32s were deck stepped as far as I know. Some are sloops and others are 'cutters'. There's a support structure for the deck that's part of the head bulkhead.

Lance and Becky, Congratulations on becoming the new caretakers of Splendid Splinter. My wife and I keep our CD32 at Hammock and remember when Sharon and Mike appeared one day at Hammock with SS (with Bob Ohler on board as well). She's a nice boat and well kept. We'll look for you when we arrive at ...

If you look at the top of this page, where the links to various other pages, you'll see the LMCDOA link. For many of us on Lake Michigan, the Lake Michigan Cape Dory Association was the only CD group we knew about. The group formed in the '80s and still loosely exists; dues were no longer collected ...

Thanks everyone for your information and advice. I guess I should have given more information: I have two 6 volts in series for 210 ah and one group 27 battery (for the present) with another 90 ah. I charge from shore power with a true-charge (now xantrex) 20 am 3 stage charger. My batteries work ve...

three stage regulator

I'm thinking of replacing the regulator on the stock alternator of my CD32 with a 3 stage regulator. Unfortunately, I'm 800 miles from the boat and can't check to see if the existing regulator is internal or external to the alternator. Does anyone know the answer to this? Also, any hints about repla...

Jack, What brand is your fritzed unit? The reason I ask is that I have an old Standard Horizon depth meter/transducer that's about 20 years old that began having problems. I borrowed another head unit from a friend and determined my problem was the transducer. I was able to replace the transducer to...

interlux micron with biolux

Check some hardware stores for micron w/biolux. Across the street from the West Marine in Annapolis is a True Value that sells a gallon (any color) for $163 (summer '07). Thanks to our CDSOA Fleet Captain for this info.

I have a truecharge 20 and the instructions that came with it recommend a equalization charge once a month if the battery hasn't been used during that time. I routinely equalize and have had no problem with my 2 6-volts and 1 group 27 - all lead acid.
