CD 25 for sale
I must sell my CD25. She was torn up in hurricane Frances; flooded but not sunk, dismasted and beaten up some. I have held on to her all this time in hopes of repairing her but due to the present condition of our finances I must liquidate anything I can. She is basically sound although her interior ...

Yard guys
Like anything else, there are good guys and not-so-good guys in the yards. The good guys are usually around for a while. I used to do a lot of welding and fabricating in a local yard and for customers of that yard and found that I generally got on better with the "yard guys" than with the ...

I won't comment on the air draft of that bridge because I don't know for sure, but I will add a friendly precaution about the lake in general. Two or three weeks ago a 40' tug, the Bertie M. was capcised and sunk in a blow on the lake. Both crew members were eventually rescued but of course the Bert...

You guys are wearing me out even thinking about fighting and handling large fish without "gear" or anywhere to put it when and if it is indeed brought aboard. Give me a ten pound dolphin and a spot of olive oil to grill it in....one will do. Yummmmmm. But like they say, if ya just gotta do...

Hey John,
Fishing arrows are made of solid fiberglass rather than tubular so that the weight (momentum) of the arrow will carry it below the surface with minimum deflection and power. They aren't even expensive. How cool is that huh? Don't let it be know that it's sailboat gear though lest West Marine or one ...
