I rerouted the new battery cables from both batteries to the battery selector switch. Using an 1 1/2” hole saw, I drilled through the bulkhead in the forward end of the port locker, then made the necessary additional holes to run the cables through the galley cabinets over to the switch/circuit brea...

I used a shallow 1/2” socket on a long 1/4” drive extension to get to the nut on the solenoid. It was not a “straight shot” but it worked.

Ours comes to about 4 to 6” shy of the end of the boom. It really does enhance the sailing on the CD30!
