Re: RIB Dinghy for sale
Yes, I still have the dinghy. If you are asking if I towed it with the motor on the dinghy, I have pulled it with the motor on, but not in really rough conditions. I also pulled it with the CD25's motor running and it did find there too. The tow line I have is pretty long so it does not really ride ...

RIB Dinghy for sale
Avon Rover 9' RIB dinghy for sale. I used to pull it behind my CD25. Since selling my CD25 I've been using it to motor around the rivers in northern Va. My family of 4 fit nicely along with the long shaft Nissan 6hp motor (perfect for a CD25). The boat has a couple of patches but she does not leak a...

Re: CD 25 For Sale
Little Ebby is sold to a deserving Cape Dory loving individual. I am sure you will be seeing her and he on the board in the weeks and months to come. I have enjoyed sailing Little Ebby (formerly Glimmer, formerly Mary Ellen) these last few years. She will be missed. One day we will be Cape Dory owne...

CD 25 For Sale
We are selling our CD25, s/v Little Ebby, after 4 years of fun and adventure sailing the Chesapeake Bay. She is a sturdy boat with classic lines that is well suited for the bay. Her 3.5 foot draft allows her to be sailed up in the many coves and creeks for a secluded over night on the moonlit bay. S...

CD25 soon to be for sale
I have a 1980 CD25 that I am going to be selling. I need to take some pictures and document everything about her, but the time has come for me to pass her along to her next owner. She is currently in the water at HHS on the Chesapeake Bay. We have enjoyed the last 3 or 4 seasons with her sailing to ...

I too am at HHS (I dock) with Little Ebby, our CD25. There is a CD26 and a CD28 (I think) also on I dock at HHS. We need to have a get together sometime!

CD25 Companionway hatch panel size
Hi All...I am getting ready to make a new companionway door and wondered if anyone knew the dimensions. I will be going to the boat this weekend but wanted to try and get the material together before I can get there and measure.
Thanks in advance!

Setting up a house battery system
Hi All! I am getting ready to install a new house battery system into my CD25 (no need for a starting battery) and want to set it up with 2 each 6 volt golf cart batteries and an onboard charger. I currently have a Tohatsu 6hp outboard with an alternator as well as a solar charger panel. I have a de...

Re: soda blasting

Were you satisfied with his work? I'll email you! Thanks, Jay I got a guy in Phila who quoted me $800 to soda blast the 33...

Steve, my CD25 has exactly this condition...tiny blisters between the gel coat and barrier coat. I have popped a few of the blisters...and plan on sanding and feathering. Do you fill the spot left by the sanding or just bottom paint over it? What do you use to sand, a dremel tool or a power sander o...

Re: Soda Blasting
Sealark: how did this turn out? And, where are you located? I was roughly quoted a price of $1500 for "media blasting" in Deale Md today. I also have a CD25. My boat is on the hard right now but I am probably looking to do my bottom work at the end of the coming season. - my price is going...

Drive Time
It's not so much the drive time for me...which is about 1:10 at best. But more so just having the time. With two young children trying their talents in soccer, swimming, scouts, etc, our ventures to the boat are not as much as I'd like them to be. We did spend some memorable weekends this summer, th...
