Neil pulled me up in the bosun's chair with one halyard and a guy from the neighboring boat (who we pressed into service) had control of the halyard/winch that went to the safety harness I was wearing. He couldn't help pull much because the safety harness isn't exactly comfy. Next time I think we pu...

Ok, who's been to the tip top of their masts?

I got up to the spreaders and then over them and got a bit shaky so the guys ...

Splash Down!

Neil's boat is in the water. He'd be here to tell you himself but he's busy floating around in it.

Special not to Joe M. The single malt hasn't been loaded on board yet.

Not to mention non-electronic replacements for navigation gizmos. First on my list would be paper charts.
Make sure you don't have a goat on board.

We'll look for you Cathy around noon. Is there a food tent or somewhere like that?

I'd want a boat that would forgive my sins (being a newbie sailor and all). But I'd also like some comfort for those laid back times.

btw, How do couples that cruise come to terms with being that close all the time? Don't they get a bit stir crazy?

I'd sure hate to be walking with my kids through a marina and have to explain what the boat name meant. I can hear the conversation now

"Hey Mom" "What's a blow job?" says happy 8y/o son
"Ask you Dad son" say I

As for air in the system, its getting in somewhere. Just because a screen is clogged, if all connections are sound and all lines are good, no are should get into the system. It should just die from lack of fuel. Take a close look at all connections from the tank (any w/ hose clamps?), a close look ...

Puget Sound sailing

I've been to Puget sound but never sailed there. What's it like? Do we have any sailors from out that way?

Hey, in the interest of lemons to lemonade, at least you know your boat will float once you get it on the water (since the water isn't leaking out <g>).
