Splash Down!

Post by Marianna Max »

Neil's boat is in the water. He'd be here to tell you himself but he's busy floating around in it.

Special not to Joe M. The single malt hasn't been loaded on board yet.

Congratulations, Neil and Marianna

I'm sorry to report that my boat is still under shrinkwrap (though I've been at work on her, thanks to that zippered door).

Let me know when the single malt is aboard, and I'll be there.

Here's to a great season!

Joe, he's on I dock right now if you are at the marina and want to give him a wave.

The motor started, too!

The marina tied us up with the pointy end pointed the wrong way, so I did a little celebration cruise. Probably less than 100 yards total... out of the slip, out of the fairway, turn at the fuel dock and back in, unassisted. (Nice when the wind is the right way.)

Joe, I'll let you know when the single malt is safely on board.*

*Note: The rest of the gang here is obviously welcome, too. JM is mentioned by name only because he works squrt gun distance from my slip.
Fair winds, Neil
