On April 11 I was standing on the top step of a 4' ladder taking the cover off. Next I was in the hospital getting my broken leg screwed back together. As of this date I am still on crutches and the boat is still on the hard. Is there anything to be learned from this, I think there must be.

Where was boat when oil change was done, and where is boat now? The level of engine will change quite a bit in different locations. If boat is now on the hard it is probably pitched aft to allow water to run off so checking oil level is tough to judge.
