Naugus Typhoon

There is a Naugus Typhoon on Craigslist for $400. Located in Easthampton, NY. A little rough but it looks like it is worth saving.

Not mine

Re: Need Standing Rigging Specs Typhoon

You live close to both Dwyer Mast (Bristol) and Rigging Only (Fairhaven) - between the two you should be able to get what you need. I have the original standing rigging from my Ty DS that you are welcome to - the forestay is wrong but the other 5 should get you started.

WTB Jib Boom Pedestal

I want to convert my Ty DS to a self tending jib. While I have never seen one on a WE or DS I know that they were standard on the open model. I am having difficulty in finding a pedestal. If anyone has one that they are willing to part with or sees one in a consignment shop, please let me know. Rig ...

Open Typhoon with Trailer

Not mine, nor do I have any connection

Looks like a deal - selling for close to the value of the trailer

Another Interesting CD

From NH CL

Again, I have no connection

If ever there was a Ty WE deserving of some attention this would be it - if only I didn't have three other boats

Two Interesting CD on CL

I have no connections to either, but I would be tempted to take a long drive:

Re: Shaft length for Typhoon Open Cockpit Daysailer

I have a Daysailer, but the cuddy not the open version. With the Spartan bracket 20" works well except if I am standing on the bow.

Re: New to List, Looking at Cape Dory Typhoon - Have Questio

I have a Typhoon Daysailer and had a Bullseye, which shares the hull with the H 12 1/2 made by Cape Cod Shipbuilding and is really close to the original wooden H 12 1/2s and Doughdishes. They are both great boats, more similar than they are different. - Bullseye - My Bullseye was as new, the nicest ...

That looks like the same one Rig-Rite supplied when I converted from roller to slab reefing

Re: Inboard Typhoon

I asked for some pictures of the install and the underbody but he did not have any. You can see the hatch that was cut in the cockpit sole in one of the pictures. My sense is that this has been sitting in a barn for a while.

Inboard Typhoon

I saw this on CL this morning - a typhoon with a Vire inboard. The owner says that it was a PO modification. For the price, with a trailer, it looks like a deal. I have no connection to the boat or owner. If I didn't already have 3 (or 8 depending on who's counting), I would drive up. Jeff https://n...
