Yawls
Those older yawls were Luders. several of them wound up at Great Lakes NTC back in the late eighties. They were beautiful to look at but the Navy allowed them to become totally trashed. A real shame............

Quick Sikkens / Cetol question
I need to redo my toe rail as some of the coverage is giving way. Do I need to sand down to bare wood again or can I just use a green or red scuff pad to rough up and recover? Thanks, Woody

Cushion
For what it is worth, I took my cushion covers to a local laundromat and used one of the big FRONT LOADER. Used cold water and dried on delicate cycle. Came out PERFECT!!!!!! Mine are the velor type from an 84 36' model. Good luck.

For Paul
Paul, I might be very interested in you tank. I am going to ask John Dancsic if he'll check with his brother. One owns a 36 the other a 33. I suspect these tanks are probably the same size. If so, and you'd like to sell it, perhaps we can work something out......

Ok, ok, ok, I give up. A friend has a bucket truck and he will haul my fat butt up and down. My problem is I am on Lake Superior now. I winter in Florida ( I know, tough life) and the rigger is down there. I think you guys are right, measure my own and not somebody else's. I would have thought thoug...

Anybody out there with a mid 80's CD36 with the mast down that could do me a favor? Mine is on the hard with the stick up and would not like to climb if I don't have to. I need to replace the upper shrouds this winter and need the measurements to give to the rigger. Amazing Grace is an 84. Thanking ...

water tanks
Phil, I'm probably all wet, no pun intended. Did you check to see if the screw in tops were just that? If your tanks are "holding" water that would seem to eliminate a crack or leak in the tank proper. The next thing I might check would be the hose clamp on the "fill" hose. I alw...
