The Cape Dory Board

It is time to replace the sail covers for the main and mizzen sails on our 30' ketch.
Anyone have recommendations for source and what should we expect to pay?

We have a 1938 Jersey skiff that is named "Damifino".

The name came with the boat and we haven't seen the need to change it.

My NAPA guy, less than a mile away, has the K&N filter to fit my engine.

Thought perhaps it was original.
I've been thinking of some kind of screen or filter to avoid swallowing unwanted itmes.

Does the YSE12 engine in your CD have an air filter?

Ours has only a 1-1/2" pipe sucking engine room air.

Would appreciate thoughts on this.

We redid all the ports on Watermark last summer.
We used material from McMaster-Carr.

I know that several of the CD30K owners have repowered or rebuilt their engines. How much of a job was it to remove the YSE12 with V-drive? Did you have to remove much of the galley? I am planning on a complete rebuild, but it looks like engine is wider than the companionway openning. Any experience...
