It is time to replace the sail covers for the main and mizzen sails on our 30' ketch.
Anyone have recommendations for source and what should we expect to pay?
Thanks
Andy

what?
We have a 1938 Jersey skiff that is named "Damifino".
The name came with the boat and we haven't seen the need to change it.

YSE12 Air Filter
Ray,
Thanks for the info.
My NAPA guy, less than a mile away, has the K&N filter to fit my engine.
This board is great!

YSE12 air filter
Dick,
Thanks for the reply.
Thought perhaps it was original.
I've been thinking of some kind of screen or filter to avoid swallowing unwanted itmes.
If I get clever I'll post a pic.
Thanks,
Andy

YSE12 air filter question
Does the YSE12 engine in your CD have an air filter?
Ours has only a 1-1/2" pipe sucking engine room air.
Would appreciate thoughts on this.

interior finish
Our ketch, hull #2, has an oiled teak interior finish. We have found the Old English Lemon Oil gives a very nice satin finish, almost a cherry tone. When we got Watermark II six years ago the interior teak was dry and faded. There were a few bottles of Old English Lemon Oil aboard and it really made...

helpfull systems
I'm no longer a young man but still am quite able. But I have been thinking about a self tending jib for our ketch. I remember our first 18' sloop had a boomed jib and short tacking up the canal to the bay was pure joy... just push the tiller to tack. The wind in our area is often in the 15+ range a...

Gasket material
We redid all the ports on Watermark last summer.
We used material from McMaster-Carr.
Item# 8605K44 - Weather Resistant EPDM Foam Cord, 1/2" Dia., 100' Length. $39.99
We did all 10 ports in about 2hours.

CD30K engine removal
I know that several of the CD30K owners have repowered or rebuilt their engines. How much of a job was it to remove the YSE12 with V-drive? Did you have to remove much of the galley? I am planning on a complete rebuild, but it looks like engine is wider than the companionway openning. Any experience...

Unable to attend!
We are unhappy to report that Watermark II will not be able to attend the Maine Cruise as planned due to a blown head gasket and possibly other damage. After trucking her 50 miles, stepping the masts and launching in Great Bay NH and stowing two weeks supplies we didn't make it out of the slip. As t...
