Does not sound good to me. Diesels usually have a compression of 10:1 at a minimum.

With this alignment, you would never turn your main switch off, as you would want to read all loads used. That is the main goal.

If you look at the picture "Loads Yes & No!" you can clearly see the negative and positive connections. Whether it is switched via your panel or a manual/automatic switch, it does not matter, as long as you use these two buses. Then the load will be read and you are coming off the righ...

Chesapeake Bay

Depending on how your boat is equipped and what time of year you will be up there, you could also rent a mooring ball. They rent them by the year and there are many places where you can dink to shore to get to your car. Obviously, power, electrical loads and charging methods will all come into play....

Caribe 9L Dinghy for sale 2008 model

Model Light-9 The caribe Light Series! This Series of boats have a great hull design. The hull design consists of a deep V Keel in the front third of the boat, which drops off a flat bottom boat in the back two thirds of the boat. This flat bottom was developed to allow the boat to get up on plane w...

AC

I think Zieda had the best idea. She installed a roof unit in the main salon hatch. She permantly attached it there and offers great AC and does not take up any interior space. Precious space that it is.

I have my boat right on the creek, just off the downtown area. If you are anchored up, perhaps I can row my dinghy out to you for a visit.

Surveyor

Bill Coker with Entre Nous Marine Services did my survey and he has a reputation for being the most picky surveyor around the Tidewater area. He really went over the boat and did inspect everything. He also took 143 digital pictures of the boat, inside and out. Very detailed. His phone number is 833...

Charging batteries

From my undestanding, an alternator will not be outputing many amps when the engine is just in idle. So then you must run up the RPM's. Of course that is not good for an engine to run at a higher RPM without a load on her, so many people put the tranny in gear to develop a load and run at higher RPM's

Love at first site

My surveyor said:

"Don't fall in love with her yet..... Your journey may be beginning and maybe not."

Many people have found what they thought were perfect boats only to find out many problems with them an bought it "ANYWAY". Then costs them many boat units to get it fixed up.

Dinghy

Here is another one. I just ordered one and I should have it by April. It is a rowing dinghy, not made for sailing, but then most people who have a sailing kit don't use them anyway. To big, bulky and takes up to much space to store inside a boat.
