The head of Minsters Creek is a great place to get mussels at mid to low tide. It's virtually lined with them. Just scoop up a bucket full and you have a meal. Cook in a pot with a can of beer (Guinness is my choice), butter, some seasoning and just enough water to cover your haul.

Not my area but Boat US used to have a list of recommended surveyors on their website.

We also used East Coast Embroidery about five years back. The cost for eight ports was $260. Identical to the original, half hull and lined.

If I am not mistaken I believe the designer may be Clive Dent who also designed the MS 300. Thought he did all the CD power yachts.

We also use Damp-Rid through out the year. It does a good job of keeping the level of moisture in the boat down.

Just happened to notice this Cape Dory 45 Fiona Riose for sale in Camden Maine. Chartered her more than 15 years back. Beautiful boat.
