Just checking to see if anyone is looking to sell a yankee for a CD36. Prefer roller furling with #6 luff tape but might make something different work.

The CD 36 Manual shows the sail plan and it shows the jib/yankee as 326 sqft and 100%...but does not give luff, foot, leech dimensions...does anyone have those?

OR, does anyone have a recommendation for an Annapolis area sailmaker who would be good (also not expensive) at fitting a new yankee with a slight increase in the original sail area?

Having issues with wiring for engine start button on CD 36 with a Perkins 4108....sometimes works and sometimes dead. Rather than pullout all the wires, is it possible to use a remote start button clipped to the starter solenoid as an emergency get home option? If so, I am not clear on which clip go...

Costs sound a bit low on a rebuild depending on how extensive...if I were doing it over again I would have gone with a new unit...

Thanks for the info....yes, old transmission was easy to shift and I can move the arm on the rebuild ok by hand but it is pretty firm...good to know about larger cable not fitting lever
