Well, I ordered a vent from Mikes Marine Supply about a month ago and still have not received it. They are claiming that the supplier keeps moving back the ship date. Has anyone else ever had any experience with Mikes?

There is alot of great feedback here. I talked with the Maryland DNR guy yesterday and he had alot of similar advice. I guess the 3" Nicro PVC Low Profile vents are the one I need. Does that sound right? I found one for $36.

I have a 1980 CD25 with a Nissan 6hp, which is the same engine. It works very well. I think the original installer had to cut down the motor mount because the motor would hit the engine well cover when it is down. X2 on the alternator...it is nice to have something to charge the battery.
