PYI Max-Prop Classic, 15" 2-Blade ($500)

Post by S/V Ethan Grey »

PYI Max-Prop Classic 15" 2-Blade for sale for $500 I'll also consider trading for an SSB setup (Would love to get an ICOM M802 and can work on any differences in price)

This is a 2-Blade, 15" wide Classic Max-Prop. True measurements are 15" wide and 8.5" long. It fits a 1" propeller shaft with standard taper. It has some pitting, but nothing that will affect performance. The gear teeth are well defined and everything fits tightly. You can find all of the information on this propeller here:

I am including 1/2 a tube of Lubriplate 130-AA. This is the recommended lubricant for this prop and you'll need to buy an additional tube to fully lubricate. It takes about 1.5 tubes total. I am also including 1/2 of a Propspeed pack. This pack is for a single propeller, but it actually has enough to cover two smaller propellers. I used it to cover my other propeller and saved 1/2 of it for future use. I think there is enough to cover this Max-Prop, but I could be wrong. Regardless, consider the lubricant and Propspeed as freebies and don't consider them in the purchase price.

Those max props are nice. If I had kept the aperture I would have snagged that for sure.
