For the past two years I had been curtain-less; after going through three different sets of curtains since 1997 (when I first got the boat), having to deal with finding a seamstress who would do them, then sewing those infamous tiny plastic tabs that go into the tiny grooves of the metal mounts over each porthole, and doing it over 30 times during those years, I had enough. Standing in front of the Zarcor booth at the boat show and seeing these Peek-a-Boo shutters, I knew I had found the solution.
They are not cheap... but boy, are they practical! Installation couldn't have been simpler. The hardest part was cleaning the glass in the portholes. Wipe clean with Glass Plus... voila! Stick the shutters up in place. What a delight. Here is how they look.

I also got a brand new boat leather kit for my wheel, which I'm proud to say I stitched myself! Makes me feel so luxurious!
