Spars...Paint or not to paint
I have a dilemma that I've been struggling with. The spars on my boat are original unpainted anodized aluminum. Although not terribly bad, the the spars are beginning to oxidize. I thought about painting or just apply a polish if there is such a thing to slow the oxidation. Is there such as product?? Or should I just paint and deal with upkeep in the future. I have read both pros and cons on this subject. My preference is to find the "magic" polishing product and move on. Anyone out there with experience with this? Thanks in advance for any comments...Dave

Try this: Collinite 850
I have used Collinite 920, 925, and 870 with good luck - all on fiberglass, of course. Seems to be a good product.
