Specifications on CD 31

Post by michelle cormier »

Strangely our owners manual is missing the hull spec's on CD 31ft cutter rig #11. Does anyone have these? (ie.beam, draft, waterline, overall etc.) We would greatly appreciate any help, since we are planning a trip to Bermuda and want to calculate load for our trip. Thanks in advance. Michelle

Ballast 4350lbs

Hope this helps.

The specs for all of the Cape Dories are located right here at the CCDOA website at <a href="http://www.toolworks.com/capedory/ccdoi ... m#specs</a>.

This is a great website, please feel free to try all of the links, not just the message board.

Michelle,
Isn't the 31 great?! If you are going to Bermuda, the most important spec. is:
Draft = 4'9"
I just went through our Owner's Manual, and you're absolutely right; no specs.
I assume you have the sail plan numbers (I, J, etc.)
If you are going long distance to Bermuda, my wife and I would love to hear all about it. We are in New England, and this type of cruise is a dream of ours (mine anyway!).
Wishing you fair winds and a calm Gulf Stream.
