Our '80 CD30 Ketch needs re-painting of non-skid. It appears that Interlux Bristol Beige may be the best color match. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I have a CD 27 and that is what I used. I also used sand to give the non skid a boost.Ed Carlson wrote: Our '80 CD30 Ketch needs re-painting of non-skid. It appears that Interlux Bristol Beige may be the best color match. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Richard,
How is that sand to kneel on, or worse yet, to fall on? Seems like that abrasive could do a lot of damage to knees, hands or (heavens forbid) faces.

A bit lighter is hatteras offwhite. Big advantage in heat if you sail in the sun. I can walk barefoot on offwhite. Could not with original color. Should keep it cooler below. Add the non skid and possibly the flattener so it doesn't glare. Brightsides 1 part works well and is less difficult than the 2 part paint.
