I have a Typhoon, #595, owner's manual Thrid Edition, October 1979, new to me May 2000, and the rudder has fallen off! Does anyone have a typhoon that is in dry dock so that the rudder outline can be traced. I will be having my boat hauled to have the rudder replaced & would like to have a "to scale" drawing for the boat yard. Also, any info on the rudder replacement would be helpful. My many thanks, in advance, for any help that comes my way. It's a great sailing boat!

Nauset Marine in Orleans, MA made a couple of Typhoon rudders last year - the company that is now making the Hurricane owns the molds, but they had loaned the rudder parts to Nauset for one of their customers.Evelyn Griggs wrote: Also, any info on the rudder replacement would be helpful.
