Leaky Raymarine ST 60 Speed Transducer

Last season I had a very slow leak from the Raymarine ST 60 Speed Transducer
For this year I'd like to fix it properly. The leak was at the base of it inside the boat.
Which leads me to believe that the sealant on the thru-hull for this has failed.

Has anyone taken out the thru-hull that is part of this and rebedded it?

If so were you able to reuse the thru-hull or did you find a source for a new replacement - just the thru-hull and not the transducer itself? And/or found a source for the rubber gasket/washer that is part of it?

I doubt there is a replacement gasket available over the counter. The through hull unit is available as a replacement without also having to purchase the paddle wheel assembly. Any Raymarine dealer should be able to provide a “ Raymarine self sealing transducer housing through hull ST60, ST60+, part number D241”.
I replaced mine a few years ago when I replaced all my electronics and I just used some 4200 on the exterior as a sealant.

Thank you very much. Having that part number should make it easier.

I'll see if I can source them from the dealer nearby.

I put in 4 new thru-hulls this winter and hadn't thought to replace the transducer ones until now.
So, a small delay in launching the boat but hoping that this last repair will make her bilge completely dry.

I'll post some pictures of the repair.

There were actually two transducers that leaked.

Last year they leaked a very small amount after the boat was launched.
I was able to stop the leak completely using Flex-Seal putty.
The stuff advertised on TV.
I just smeared it on from the inside of the boat.
Surprisingly it worked even though the boat was in the water and the leak was active.
But it's in no way a long term repair.

I did go to my local Raymarine dealer and they were not able to order the replacement parts for the thru-hulls (although I was able to find a source online for replacing one of them based on the part number).
So I decided to reuse the existing parts.

I was able to easily remove the two Transducers.
It seems there was very little sealant used when they were installed.
I thoroughly cleaned up the thru-hulls, the holes and the transducers.

Then re-bedded all with 4200.
The inside view is shown but rest assured that the thru-hulls were properly sealed with 4200.
The bit shown here on the inside is just for the heck of it.
