I haven’t investigated the backstory but there is a longship at Mystic Seaport.

The longship was there back when we hosted the membership meeting. I don't know if she went on some kind of tour and just returned, or if she's been based there. It's worth a visit. So is Mystic Seaport.

Very interesting but I suspect it doesn't out point a Cape Dory... :D

She sails about 90 degrees off the wind, on a good day.
