Viking longship spotted in Mystic, Ct.
I haven’t investigated the backstory but there is a longship at Mystic Seaport.

The longship was there back when we hosted the membership meeting. I don't know if she went on some kind of tour and just returned, or if she's been based there. It's worth a visit. So is Mystic Seaport.

Being “Vikings” I presume that Radar was “donated” by a vessel they happened upon in their journeys.fmueller wrote:Wow ... the Vikings had radar !

She sails about 90 degrees off the wind, on a good day.mgphl52 wrote:Very interesting but I suspect it doesn't out point a Cape Dory...
