I am a proud new owner of a CD22 and new to sailing also, and need a rigid ladder to get back into boat. Where do I find one.

Ladder for CD22

Re: Ladder for CD22
Ginny:
We bought a 36" ladder from West Marine for our 22. It works fine, although like any similar ladder the rungs are not too comfortable. It is fairly easy to mount one on the 22 due to the lazzarette.

The ladder we bought is referred to as WM Ladder #115550 on West Marine's web site. The mounting pads on the photo look the same as ours did. However, we bought ours several years ago, and the same ladder in the stores now may not have exactly the same mounting brackets, although the ladder appears to be the same. We backed up the mounts with 1/4" ext. plywood and fender washers.
If you have brackets already I could only guess what ladder the boat may have had. I'd measure the distance between them; the distance from the waterline. These will help you find a replacement that might work, although it would appear to me that a new ladder would come with brackets. Good luck.
