Typhoon Weekender Mast Height

Post by pjust »

I'm about to put Dolcetto away for the winter in my garage, and I want to rig some slings from the rafters for her mast. The specifications give a Typhoon Weekender's mast a height of 27'. Is that the length of the mast dismounted, measured from the waterline, or measured from the keel?

TIA!

Thanks! The 27' must be height above waterline.

How and where is the mast base stepped?

A keel stepped mast will be longer than a mast mounted on the cuddy roof with a hinge plate or a tabernacle.

Maybe look up Dwyer Masts. They have charts on original mast replacement data.

Good luck,
