Bill:
Thanks for thinking of me. I sent some emails back and forth with the seller over the past few months about his CD 25D. Depending on the results of some other developments in the works on the east coast I may schedule a trip to Nashville later this Spring.

Beware the sailboat that has a flat screen TV installed!!
Actually, I don't know what that means, but it does seem a little odd.........

You Can Do It--Here's How
Seahunt,
If you buy either boat, I would be happy to teach you short handed sailing and single handed sailing. I single handed a CD27 for 5 years and lived aboard it. Later, I taught classes aboard a different 27. I have also owned the Typhoon and CD25 (not the D--the original). They are all quite easy to single hand, and especially so if you know how to set them up.
I live in Florida, so you provide the boat, pay my expenses to and from the boat, and I'll provide the knowledge you need. Fair enough?
Resume, extensive list of references (yes, you should contact each of them to check me out), and copies of master and mate licenses gladly provided. Not a bad deal from a professional captain, professional maritime instructor, and former director of seamanship.

too limited?
I'll join others in saying that you're missing the boat by limiting your search to a 25D. A 25D is a nice boat, but within days a 27 would seem small to you, and it opens your search options a whole lot.
