Sink plumbing ?

Post by Jimbo »

On my cd27 the sink drain appears to be essentially the same as a houshold drain. The opening from the bottom of the basket is 2" then there is a plastic reducer that goes to a 1/2" hose. The reducer is toast and I can't find anything to identify a manufacturer. Does anyone know where this part might be acquired. I have done quite a bit of research and haven't seen anything similar. Any ideas would be appreciated. Jim

Forespar.

Forespar makes "sink wastes" with tailpieces to fit 3/4" id hose. They require a 2" hole in the sink. You have to buy the whole drain, but (surprisingly for Forespar) they're not expensive.
