I apologize. I did not mean to offend anyone or detract from the excellent resources provided on this board of Cape Dory brochures, manuals, etc. which I know took a lot of time and effort to collect, upload, etc. They have been, and continue to be, very helpful to me.
I posted this other website for two reasons. First, just because I was surprised I found it I have been doing Google searches for several years for Cape Dory sailboats and never found this site before. I am not sure how I found it this time. Second, I thought it might possibly augment the CDSOA website. If I recall correctly, most of the brochures and manuals currently on the CDSOA website are black and white whereas most (possibly not all) of the brochures on this other website are in color. I thought this would be interesting and helpful especially for old-fashioned guys like me who want to try to keep things on our CDs as original as reasonably possible. Because these brochures are in color they provide us (perhaps only me) with a visual color reference for some deck and hull colors, cabin colors, upholstery, teak or other wood colors, etc.
I have a 9-year old DELL computer (my very first computer ) and a cheap 8-year old Lexmark printer. As a test, I printed out two pages of CD 25D literature - one with mostly cabin photos, the other with mostly writing (specs, etc.). I enlarged the photos about 200% before printing. Both pages printed with surprising clarity and sharpness. The photos show colors very well and the letters and numbers have very little “fuzzinessâ€
