CD22 fuel tank locker is too small for new fuel tanks!

We've got this one in our 22. no issues, except for the gauge failing halfway through the season...

That was the response I received from Shipstore.com. The tank I ordered has been banned by the EPA!

A quick Google says otherwise. I've been following this as I need a couple tanks in the spring.

BUT The new tank fill caps may prove interesting in that they will cause the tank, bulb, hose, connectors and engine to be under pressure on hot days. Older components may develop leaks due to age. Personally I am not happy with this new requirement.

The tank you've linked is 10'' high, the 22's tank locker is 8'' high at best. Thanks for trying though.
