Re: Bronze midships cleats and 2" exhaust flange for sale
Hi John, I bought the mast cleat from you earlier in the summer. I’m looking for a matching pair of midship cleats for Miss Sadie. The third cleat in your picture looks right. Do you have two? If not I’ll buy the one. Couldn’t find the exact same cleat online, but prices are all over the place ($10-...

Re: Mast part
John:
Thank you I am interested. I tried to send u some pics but ur email shown to the left did not work. Could u send me urs?
Track is 7/16 and gate opening is 5/8”.
If u can send me a pic or sketch that would help me determine if your gate will work. Maybe I can modify it.
Thanks, Mike

Mast part
Does anyone have a line on a mast "clip" that restricts the mainsail slugs from coming out of the mast's slot opening when raising and lowering the main? This part on Miss Sadie my 25D went missing this past winter and now it's become a nuisance when hoisting and lowering - especially in a...

Re: Wanted - Pressurized alcohol oven
I have an original Kenyon alcohol stove from my CD25D. I've never used it and am planning to remove it to create a little more storage space. If interested lemme know.

Pair of Lewmar #7 winches- SOLD
Upgrading my 1982 CD25D with new self tailing winches. So these originals are available. They are in good shape, work well, and have always been in fresh water. They'll be going up on eBay for $50 each plus postage. Thought I'd put them up here in case any CD folks are interested. Tried to put a pic...

Re: CD25D topside refurb questions
Jim: I know that I'll probably not recover my costs if ever I part with her. Maybe the g-kids will enjoy her though. The deck/top has hundreds of small cracks that fortunately do not yet seem to have penetrated through the glass. She was previously sailed and stored (outside) up on Ontario, under ma...

Re: CD25D topside refurb questions
Roberto and Joe, Thanks for the info and advice. I think I'll go ahead with the self-tailers. Her deck is now stripped of brightwork and ready for first sanding. I chose not remove the rub rails however because it's in really good shape, plus they're a real bear to remove and replace without damagin...

Re: CD25D topside refurb questions
Thanks Steve. I plan to go ahead with new teak, buttressed, finished in cetol. No I don't blame anyone, just trying to describe how the cracking occurred- I'm sure it's happened to others. Finished removal of all brightwork today.

CD25D topside refurb questions
Ahoy there. The teak coamings on my CD25D have cracked and I am looking to replace them before painting the topside which will soon be underway. My 250# sailing buddy's foot did the damage when we heeled over this past summer. Although I love teak, I wonder if anyone has any experience with other mo...

Re: Cape Dory 25D For Sale
Amen on the reading. She looks like a great boat with some upgrades. Can you describe the condition of the deck and hull with respect to cracking, blisters etc. Paint and brightwork look good, but can't tell much from 1 pic. Does she have the stock 1 cyl Yanmar?
Thanks, Mike
Thanks, Mike

Re: Cape Dory 22D For Sale
Thanks Eric. My email is macananny@gmail.com. I am right in the process of buying a 25D that's in good shape, but could change my mind as I'm sure the 22D is more easily trailerable and I could hop down to C-Ville with my SUV and bring her back to the Finger Lakes.
