I'm getting them as well!

My IP sent me a letter (I forwarded it to my IP assuming it was fraud) indicating the same thing. Then another one came a few hours later. Apparently someone send over 1000 emails using my address (that's the max allowed by RoadRunner). There was an attachment BUT I DIDN'T OPEN IT. Instead I forward...

Instead of replacing with the 3 inch cowl which looked too puny, we went with the 4 inch cowl and had no problem with installation. Mariners Hardware will allow you to send ba...

Captain's Varnish!

I've always used Captain's Varnish for a really hard surface. Preparation is key here. Make sure that all dust, hair strands, etc., is removed before application. Best part is that it's not a slippery surface when completed.

If your batteries tested fine after bei...

Re: bottom paint shelf life

I have half a one gallon can of interlux ACT left over from last year. IS it still good? Mark: The yard where I keep my boat saves leftover bottom paint for touch-ups on boats that they service. Interlux claims a 2 year shelf life http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/xrefintfibbottomkoteact.asp for...

Bottom paint has hit the roof!

West Marine had a customer-invited sale last week with 20% off non-electronic (10% for electronic) items. I thought it would be nice to save a little on bottom paint, which I figured would be high. But I was surprised at the $199.99  per gallon price of Interlux Micron Extra. Soooo, I switched...
