Hello List, your collective wisdom is needed. Weather permitting, we will be painting our ketch next week and wondering what shade of white will be close to the original color. We are redoing the bottom of our ketch and read recently that don casey recommends a couple coats of alkyd enamel as better than epoxy barrier coats.

does anyone have experience with this?

Its time to strip the bottom of several layers of paint.

At the yard several people suggested "peel-away" but no one here has used it.

Anyone have experience good or bad with the product?

Also it seems to come in many varieties, any suggestions?

Our ketch has a YSE12 with walter v-drive.
we have been able to get a manual for the YSE but cant find one for the v-drive.

does anyone know where to get one?
