I added a vang last year, so I'll get out to the boat later this week, and see if that's it

The mainsail stops about 6-8 inches from the top. The metal itself, feel a little rough, so it might be a lubricant soulution

I'm having trouble getting the mainsail to get to the top of the mast.. I have an 1972 Cape Dory Typhoon, and when I pull the main sheet, it seems to hang up a bit. I was wondering if a lubricate would help?

cushions for Cape Dory Weekender

I'm almost done with my refitting of a Cape Dory Weekender, and I want to replace the cushions in the cuddy cabin. Is there someplace that sells prefab? or do you have to have them made?Is there any recommendations on material, for inside and outside cushions?

Thanks, You have confirmed what I thought of where I should keep my boat. Which route is the fastest out to Oriental from Raleigh?

marinas in North Carolina

I just bought a Cape Dory Typhoon Weekender, and am in the process of re-fitting her. I hope to have her finished by end of January, and would like some ideas, as to where to keep it. I lived on Cape Cod 25 years ago, and have lived in Raleigh ever since, so I've been away from boating. I'ld like so...

new typhoon owner

I just bought a '72 typhoon weekender. I need a source for a few parts. I would like to replace some of the wood, and a few fittings. I'm in North Carolina, can someone steer me in the right direction?
