Re: shroud tension question?
I've had a guy I know sailing with me and he observed/commented that he thought the shrouds were too loose. Please note, he is not a rigger. My wife has had some ongoing medical issues, so I haven't had as much time as I'd like so I havent attended to all of the things I should. So one day I was goi...

Shroud Tension
My rigging seemed to be a little too loose. so i checked the owners manual linked on this board and it said not to get it too tight,"not bar tight" and that there should be about an inch of slack. Am i misreading or does that sound right?

Re: Engine sump
I've found I have a leak from the back of the engine so I have to empty out the engine pan and bilge regularly to avoid the pump dumping oil in the water. I talked to the mechanics at Marine Engines Unlimited in Galesville and they suggested I wait until the end of the season to have it repaired. Al...

Re: Is Face Book Killing the Forum?
Even though I have a Facebook account I don't use it often. I have found this forum to be incredibly valuable from entertainment to how-to, to envy producing.
Now, I just realized I have not sent any money in, can anyone advise or tell to whom I should?

Add Mainsheet Traveler Using Existing Track
I need/want to update my mainsheet traveler on my CD 27 and wondering if it's possible to use the existing track.
I contacted Gerhauer and they said to remove the track and send it to them, same with Bacon Sails in Annapolis.

Re: TRYING TO FIND LEAK - Please Help
I've noticed small amount of water accumulating in my engine pan. Can't find anything on the engine leaking so one afternoon the local mechanic agreed to take a look, for the price of a cup of coffee.. He agreed it wasn’t coming from the engine and opined it was probably from the rudder shaft. Now t...

Re: Seeking LED Conversion Input
I found that the stern light fixtures on my boat was crushed. I promise I didn't back Into anything. So I ordered a LED replacement. I thought I ought to rewire it since the old wire is cracking Trouble is that I cannot figure out where the wire runs. I'd just. cut it off flush and run a new wire bu...
