Warren, I feel your pain. Made the same repair on my CD 27 last week. Pump was easy to repair but not so easy to remount. One nut is still not in place. Getting in the port locker resulted in the destruction of my favorite work shirt. Will try again when assistance is available.

Hope you enjoyed Spring Cove marina and are having a good time on the bay. My wife, a woman with high restroom standards, gives the SC rest rooms/showers high marks. I keep my CD27, Gabrielle, at slip F13 at Spring Cove.

Talked to my parts supplier yesterday and was informed that Yanmar is no longer supporting the YSM series and that replacement parts are getting sarce. Turns out the part I needed, a water drain cock, was available and is on its way. Any suggesting on keeping these older yanmars running?
