I haven't sailed a Bullseye but race regularly against one, previously with a Weekender and now Daysailor. The Typhoon is a little bit faster but if you do ever want to race, the BE has a Portsmouth Handicap that makes it a world beater!
I concur with previous comments otherwise.

I don't know about the leaders. I picked up over 250 miles on them since yesterday but they're beginning to move again and I'm sitting behind a high(?) with problems for the next 24 hours unless the forecast changes.
