The older CD28s have plastic ports and the newer CD28s have bronze ports. Are your ports plastic or bronze?

We were a small group, but a good group. Attending the CDSOA Northeast Fleet float-in in Port Jefferson, NY on Saturday we’re Kevin & Janet Mularkey (CD33 Alosa), Stuart Timm (CD22 Nonsuch) and Cathy Monaghan & Bruce Halley (CD32 Realization).

How much water is in the bilge?

You’d be surprised how well boat soap works when you use it full strength. Get a sponge wet, pour some boat soap (or dishwashing liquid) directly on the sponge, and try it on an offending spot. Then give it a good dousing. Anyway, it’s worth a try.
