Hi,
I am in the process of ordering a new headsail for my Cape Dory 25 but am unable to get down to the boat for a few weeks. Does anyone have measurements for a 115% furling jib? I am ordering from Precision Sails.
Thanks,
John

If you can wait, Precision Sails has a really good sale in the fall/early winter. Precision Sails has some very exact measurements they want. I'm not sure you want measurements from someone else's CD25. Their standing rigging may not be the same length as yours. If you are spending good money on a new head sail, you want it to fit your boat. Just one person's opinion.

I fully concur with Carl, on both accounts! The fall sales discount & getting precise measurements.

All you need are the I, J, P and E dimensions. They are all shown on the sail plan for the boat in the owners manual. The sailmaker will do the rest. And if he/she is worth their salt, they will come out and take those measurements themselves. It’s best to use a local sailmaker.
