Replacing sole

Hi Russell, I will be replacing the sole on my 25D at some point in time. It is sound but looks bad. Below is a link from a guy on the board who has a 25 that he has redone and his sole is beautiful. Maybe he can help. http://www.flickr.com/photos/9447350@N04/ Also, his name is Dave Brandt and he po...

Pics later

Sorry about the pics. We moved the boat last Tues. via Seatow. Lets just say, we have had better days. By the time the boat got to the dock, no way I could go get the screw driver to open up the cabinet in 100 degrees. I just wanted out of there. Going down tomorrow back on Wed. With any luck...

Thank you!

Thanks for all the replies. The former owner told me he thought it was not priming for some reason. That said--the boat is in salt water- we had barnacles in the bilge when we found her! The boat has been on a mooring for 3 years with no attention. No telling whats living in those pipes  Add t...

Air Conditioner

I'll be at the boat tomorrow and get pics. Below is a pic of the control panel. It is a digital control panel. It has the one vent shown in the pic. The unit is located in the head. THe 25Des head takes up what is usually the va-berth. The air conditioner unit is located on a shelf on the port side....

I'm not sure the model or age

Thanks. I am probably going to call a dealer and see if I can find out which service manual I should be looking at.

Marine Air air conditioning--Does anyone have one?

We have a Marine Air air conditioner and we dont know anything about it. It appears to be clogged up somehow. Does anyone know anything about these? It is in a 1985 CD26D. I need to figure out how to flush it out. Help would be appreciated.

BTW, Seahunt, your comments are always welcome. You may not own a 25D but you have probably seen more CD's from Typhoons to 28' than anyone but the builders!

Thanks all for the replies. I guess it never had a plug. I'm not at the boat -- but I measured the hole when I was there and it is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. While it is round, it may have been cut with a bit but then shaped with possibly a jig saw because it is sort of flat in a few areas. There are...

WOW

You do beautiful work! My boat is a little different than yours. It is the 25D. I will probably have to replace my sole but I was just wondering what went in this hole when the table pole is not in use: <a href="http://s206.photobucket.com/albums/bb146/ftrapp/Saga/?action=view&current=DSC02...

It's round and I think 2 1/2" diameter but I am not sure about that. I will measure it over the weekend. I say round, I don't think that it is perfectly round.

Buzzard's Roost-- now St. John's Yacht Habor

If you decide to rail mount you will not be welcome at the new St. John's Yacht Harbor (formerly Buzzard's Roost) on the Stono River near Charleston. No tanks: water, propane, gas, desiel or otherwise allowed on the deck. Dingys must be on davits -- no dingys trailing or on deck. No boom covers or f...

CD25D HOLE IN THE SOLE FOR THE TABLE LEG

Does anyone have a plug or cover for the hole where the table leg goes in the CD25D? If so, what does it look like? And, where can I get one?
